The top six teams of both divisions that accept invitations will be seeded into the Men’s and Women’s PBA Collegiate Championship according to USBC Collegiate rankings as of December 26. The deadline to accept invitations is Friday January 6, 2023.

Men’s and Women’s PBA Collegiate Championship TV Format (“Race to 2”)

The team that wins two games will be crowned as champions of the Men’s and Women’s PBA Collegiate Championship.

In the event of a tie where the games are split, one win each, a 9th and 10th frame sudden death roll-off procedure will be used to break the tie. Team managers will select two players to bowl the roll-off. If the opening 9th and 10th frame roll-off results in a tie, a different player from each team will be selected by the coaches to bowl a one ball roll-off.

Teams will remain on their respective lane until the tie is broken. This sequence of selecting a different player will continue until the tie is broken. If all five players of each team have bowled in the roll-off and a tie still exists, the same roll-off order will continue to be used beginning with the player who bowled the 9th frame of the opening roll-off. Teams will continue to bowl on their respective lane until the tie is broken.
