The WSOB entry fee includes all PBA Animal Pattern Championships and the PBA World Championship.
The Roth Holman Doubles requires a separate $250 individual entry fee ($500 for the team) and will be limited to 46 teams. Players will need to enter their Roth/Holman doubles team online separately.
NOTE: Entry priority for the Roth/Holman Doubles is posted in the details of that event. The priority sequence is not the same as the priority listed below for WSOB.
WSOB Priority Entries Including International Player Invites
Priority entries open January 3, 2022 at 10 a.m. CT. Priority entries close February 20, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. CT.
Entry priority will be given in the following order, provided the top 50 2021 PBA Tour point leaders, 20 International invites, and PBA Tour champions, regardless of status, have entered by February 20. 86 spots are being held for priority entrants. After February 20 any remaining spots will go to the PTQ.
- The top 50 2021 PBA Tour point leaders
- PBA Tour title holders
- 20 International Invites
- 15 invitations will be issued to international players who were among the top 75 PBA Tour point leaders in 2021, and others not in the top 75 who have had the best finishes at the WSOB within the last two years.
- 5 other WSOB invitations will be based on resumes submitted by international players. Resumes can be submitted to PBA Commissioner, Tom Clark at [email protected].
NOTE: International players accepting their WSOB invitation will need to be PBA members. Below is a link to the PBA International Membership application process that explains membership qualifications, benefits, and nominal cost.
Anyone not classified as a priority entrant will need to enter the PTQ. Details for PTQ entrants are outlined below.

A minimum of six players will advance, with a maximum number to be determined in order to fill the elite field of 92.
Example: If 50 point leaders, plus 20 International invites, and five more PBA Tour champions enter as priority entrants, 17 would advance from the PTQ, which would fill the elite field at 92.

Anyone needing instructions on how to enter online can contact membership services at (206) 332-9688.
