2025 PBA Junior Schedule Announced
All-new PBA Jr. World Series of Bowling highlights new PBA Jr. schedule
With the 2024-2025 PBA Jr. National Championship Finals soon to be contested, the 2025-2026 PBA Jr. National Championship Regional Qualifier schedule has been released.
All roads once again lead to the finals as each Regional Qualifier champion is eligible to advance to the PBA Jr. National Championship Finals, which will be held in early 2026.
The highlight of the schedule is the first-ever PBA Jr. World Series of Bowling, which will be held at Bowlero Mount Prospect near Chicago June 16-19.
PBA Jr. athletes will compete for the PBA Jr. O’Neill, McEwan and Tackett Championships as well as the PBA Jr. World Championship. Players can also compete in an optional PBA LBC National Championship squad specially designed for PBA Jr. players.
All PBA Jr. WSOB champions will be eligible to advance to the PBA Jr. National Championship Finals as well.
The first of 17 PBA Jr. title events will be held April 25-27 in Midlothian, Va.
Each 2025 PBA Jr. Regional Qualifier will feature 15 games of qualifying on three different PBA Jr. oil patterns: O’Neill, McEwan and Tackett. The top eight players will advance to round-robin match play, which marks a format change from last year’s single-game elimination bracket.
The player with the highest total pinfall, including bonus pins, will be crowned the champion.
Players can bowl in as many Regional Qualifiers as they desire, even after qualifying for the PBA Jr. National Championship Finals.
In each PBA Jr. event, players compete for SMART scholarships — each Regional Qualifier includes added SMART funds — and earn Tier 1 points for the 2025 PBA Jr. Jim Welch Memorial Scholarship.
PBA Jr. tournaments are scratch and open to all junior bowlers under the age of 18 (as of 12/31/2024). PBA Jr. members receive a $50 discount on entry fees.
