Oil Pattern

Chameleon

The Chameleon is 39 feet in length and utilizes a “retro” approach to pattern design. Instead of “smoothing out” the oil on the lane, increased volumes are placed in “zones” encouraging players to choose a specific area of the lane to play. This is a multiple-angles pattern allowing the bowler to choose what part of the lane best suites their particular game. The scoring pace is medium to low as the primary challenge faced by bowlers is the large number of adjustments which are needed to move from “zone to zone”. Large moves, more than five boards at a time, are common to stay out of trouble and to conquer the Chameleon.

Pro-Am Squads: 6 & 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, March 2
Roll call is 30 minutes prior to all squads
A squad: 10 a.m. (eight games)
B squad: 2:30 p.m. (eight games)
Advance: Top 16
Sunday, March 3
“Round of 16” Brackets: 9 a.m. (best of five games)
Entry Fee
Members: $220
Non-Members: $285 (money order, cashiers check or credit card only)
Entry Deadline
Online entries close at midnight Monday, February 25
After the deadline entries must be made directly with the PBA Midwest Regional Manager
Prize Fund
Projected 1st Place: $1,700
Final cash spot is a minimum of $400.
