Oil Pattern

Viper

The Viper is a 37 foot long, multiple angles pattern that normally yields medium to high scores. Bowlers will need to place a premium on the ball traveling straight through the front part of the lane when the lanes are “fresh”. Once Viper breaks down, multiple angles are available for attack. Viper is the most versatile of the five named patterns and can be used on any lane surface. The champion on Viper will be the bowler who can outsmart their opponent playing multiple lines.

Practice Session: 2-4 p.m.
Orientation Meeting: 4 p.m.(mandatory for all first-time participants)
Pro Ams: 5:30 and 8:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 18
Roll Call is 30 minutes prior to all squads
A Squad: 8 a.m. (eight games)
B Squad: 1:30 p.m. (eight games)
C Squad: 7 p.m. (eight games)
Advance: Top 32 (based on entries)
Sunday, August 19
Top 32 bowl 4 games at 10:00 a.m. (All pins carry over)
Top 16 bowl 3 games at 12:30 p.m. (All pins carry over)
Top 8 bowl 2 games at 2:30 p.m. (All pins carry over)
Step ladder begins at 4:00 p.m. with Top 4
Entry Fee
Members: $220
Non-Members: $285 (money order, cashiers check or credit card only)
Entry Deadline
Online Entries close at midnight Monday, August 13
After the deadline entries must be made directly with the PBA Central Region Manager
PRIZE FUND
Projected 1st place: $4,000
Final Cash spot is a minimum of $400.

“THE LINUS OPEN” Scholarship golf outing.
$70 per man. Money raised goes to graduating senior bowlers of the West Ohio High School Bowling Conference.
