Regional qualifiers must accept their playoff spot NO LATER THAN January 31, 2011. Bowlers who do not accept their position by the deadline will be removed from the list of qualifying bowlers. Additional details outlined following the tournament schedule below:
Projected prize fund: $320,000 (Based on 180 entries)
1st Place: $50,000 Guaranteed
TUESDAY, MARCH 8, 2011
NOON – 2:00 PM / Practice Session (East, South, Central)
4:00 PM - 6:00 PM / Practice Session (Midwest, Southwest, West-Northwest)
NOTE: For the PBA Playoffs, the regions will be divided into squads as follows:
A Squad: East, South, Central
B Squad: Midwest, Southwest, West-Northwest
The top 72 players on the PBA point list will be added to the regions at the conclusion of the Mark Roth Plastic Ball Championship based on PBA Tour point rankings.
The top 18 bowlers on the PBA Tour point list will earn byes as follows:
1-6: Automatically advance to Elim. Round 4
7-12: Advance to Eliminator Round 3
13-18: Advance to Eliminator Round 2

The Top Three bowlers from each region will advanced to ESPN finals.

All Exempt Players and bowlers who advance to Eliminator Round 2 must be available for up to two pro-am squads.

ESPN Tape-delayed TV shows
Show #1: East, South, and Central Finals
Show #2: Midwest, Southwest, West-Northwest Finals
Show #3: Winners of each Region roll off. The three remaining bowlers will advance to the live ESPN finals on April 17, 2010.

ADDITIONAL TOURNAMENT DETAILS:
-Each Region will use their RPI point list (Down to 25th place if necessary) to fill any vacancies due to an automatic qualifier not accepting their position.
-Any bowler receiving an invitation via the RPI list, must accept their invitation NLT than February 15, 2011.
-As of February 15th, 2011, if the all Regions have been filled, RPI players still waiting will become the official standby list.
-If the RPI list has been exhausted for a particular region, the top overall RPI point earner remaining shall be invited.
-In the event all RPI lists have been exhausted, the remaining spots will be open to the general membership.
-Regional qualifiers who also finish 19th-72nd on the PBA Tour point list will be seeded within the region which they qualified. His/her PBA Tour spot will then be filled by the next highest bowler on the PBA Tour point list (Up to the top 125).
-Regional qualifiers who also finish in the top 18 in PBA Tour points will be awarded byes as appropriate and will be seeded according to their PBA Tour point ranking. His/her regional spot will go to the next RPI standby available, or the general membership if there is no standby list.
-In the event the top 72 in PBA Tour points are unavailable to bowl, or qualify in a different region, the PBA will extend the point list to the top 125 until all 72 spots are filled.
-In the event 72 PBA Tour spots cannot be filled using the top 125 in PBA Tour points, these spots will be filled by the next RPI standby available, or the general membership if there is no standby list.
-The roster for the Dick Weber PBA Playoffs will be "locked" at the conclusion of the Mark Roth Plastic Ball Championship. Should a withdrawal by a seeded player occur after the roster has been locked, seeds will not be adjusted.
