Tournament News

In the first of seven PBA World Series of Bowling telecasts on ESPN, Detroit area favorite Harry Sullins ended a 15-year winless dry spell by winning the resurrected PBA Senior World Championship at Thunderbowl Lanes.

Walter Ray Williams Jr., seeking an eighth major title and a record 46th PBA Tour victory, averaged 244.17 to take the first round lead in the PBA World Championship at Thunderbowl Lanes Monday.
