The 2007-08 Denny’s PBA Tour season has been so bad for Norm Duke, even the supremely confident star was starting to doubt himself. But always one with a flair for the dramatic, Duke swept Chris Loschetter, 4-0, Friday night to advance to the finals of the Denny’s World Championship.

Tom Daugherty and Michael Fagan teamed up for a nice 1-2 punch on Tuesday. Bowling on the same pair throughout the day, Daugherty led day one of qualifying in the 2008 Denny’s World Championship at Woodland Bowl while Fagan finished fourth.
