As the only right-handed bowler in Sunday’s championship round, Wes Malott thought he might have an advantage against his left-handed opponents. Turns out, he was right. Malott defeated rookie Rhino Page, 255-193, to win the 2008 Lumber Liquidators Earl Anthony Medford Classic.

All-time Denny’s PBA Tour titles leader Walter Ray Williams Jr. started Thursday’s Round of 64 with a 300 game and was atop the leader board after each of the first 12 games. But when it was all said and done, 21-year-old Ryan Ciminelli stood alone at the top.

This week, the Denny's PBA Tour is in Medford, Ore., for the Lumber Liquidators Earl Anthony Medford Classic. Sean Rash will look to successfully defend his title while Tommy Jones will look to build on his win last week in Reno.

Ryan Ciminelli can only hope his performance this week after leading the Denny’s PBA Tour Qualifying Round will be as good as his performance the last time he led a qualifying round, if not better.
