Note: Any USBC approved ball manufactured before 1982, and whose manufacturer is currently Product Registered in the appropriate category, is legal regardless of whether the ball appears on the Approved Equipment listing.

Full Registration Unlimited use by all athletes of cleared bowling balls and accessories excluding grips and shoes in all PBA competition. For televised events, non-contracted athletes may use equipment but may not wear the logo unless an incentive has been posted for all competitors. An unlimited number of athletes may be signed to contracts.
All Tour Competition Unlimited use by all athletes of cleared bowling balls and accessories excluding grips and shoes in PBA all competition. For televised events, non-contracted athletes may use equipment but may not wear the logo unless an incentive has been posted for all competitors. An unlimited number of athletes may be signed to contracts.
Grassroots Unlimited use by all athletes of cleared bowling balls and accessories excluding grips and shoes in PBA Regional and PBA50 (formerly Senior Tour) competition (excluding any televised competition).

Note: GRASSROOTS ITEMS NOT PERMITTED AT ANY TIME DURING PBA TOUR COMPETTITION TO INCLUDE PBA TOUR QUALIFYING ROUNDS
Footwear Only Unlimited use of footwear in all PBA competition. For televised events, non-contracted athletes may wear the footwear but may not wear the logo unless an incentive has been posted for all competitors. An unlimited number of athletes may be signed to contracts.

Athlete must be under contract with registered company to wear the logo in ANY PBA competition, including regional and senior events. Only seven athletes may be signed to a contract to wear the logo, no incentives may be posted.

For televised events, non-contracted athletes may use the accessory but may not wear the logo unless an incentive has been posted for all competitors. An unlimited number of athletes may be signed to contracts. As of August 31, 2006 if grip companies are not registered in this category, products may not be used.
Accessories (Limited) Unlimited use of cleared accessories in all PBA competition (excludes balls and shoes). Accessories Grassroots Unlimited use of cleared accessories (excluding balls and shoes in PBA Regional and PBA50 (formerly Senior Tour) competition excluding any televised competition. As of August 31, 2006 if grip companies are not registered in this category, products may not be used on any PBA Tour. Products registered in this category may NOT be used in Lumber Liquidator’s PBA Tour qualifying rounds.
