2014: Finished second to Jason Belmonte in Barbasol PBA Tournament of Champions losing 219-218 in championship match...Was member of 2014 Silver Lake Atom Splitters team that won Elias Cup by defeating L.A. X 4-2 in championship finals.
Career: After recovering from knee surgery to repair a meniscus tear, won 2013 U.S. Open for first major and eighth PBA Tour title. After qualifying third for stepladder finals, defeated Marshall Kent 200-193, Pete Weber in semifinal 279-182 and then Jason Belmonte 214-156 in the final for the $50,000 first prize. Win pushed him over $1 million in career earnings...Won 2013 Cheetah Championship by defeating Parker Bohn III, 243-169 for second title of the season and ninth of his career...Finished second in 2013 USBC Masters losing to Jason Belmonte in championship match 258-245...Also finished second in Don Carter Classic losing to Jason Sterner 299-235 in championship match...Won three titles including three in 2008-09 on his way to PBA Player of the Year honors and George Young High Average Award with 222.98…In 2011-12 season teamed with Norm Duke to win Mark Roth-Marshall Holman Doubles Championship for seventh career Tour title.
