Career: In 2012-13 won Kingdom International Open in Saudi Arabia for 15th career Tour title. Defeated Michael Mak of Hong Kong twice, 247-218 and 268-258 in two-game title match. Successfully defended his International Bowling Championships title in Japan by defeating Sean Rash in championship match 209-204. Win was first World Bowling Tour major. Finished fourth in Tournament of Champions losing to Sean Rash in second TV match 247-233...Won four titles each in 2004-05 and 2005-06, earning the PBA Player of the Year Award for 2005-06 after winning the 63rd U.S. Open and leading the Tour with $301,700, the third-highest single season earnings of all-time…Won two titles each in 2006-07 and 2007-08…His second victory in 2006-07 came in the Tournament of Champions and gave him the PBA record for shortest time between first and 10th titles (two years, six months and seven days, breaking Dick Weber’s 45-year-old record by just four days)… Had a 15-match TV win streak snapped early in 2005-06, one shy of the longest win streak record held by Jim Pencak…Jones, Mike Aulby, Jason Belmonte and Chris Barnes are the only players to win both the PBA Player of the Year and Rookie of the Year awards…Was member of New York City WTT KingPins team, owned by tennis legend Billie Jean King, which won inaugural PBA League Elias Cup in 2013...Owns nine PBA Regional titles.
