2011-12: Finished second to Osku Palermaa in Kuwait Open, the first international event to award a PBA title under new PBA/WTBA alliance. He was defeated 267-232 and 268-226 in two-game stepladder final match...Other top finishes were third in Detroit Open and sixth in Shark Open...Ranked 17th in average (221.09) and 28th in earnings ($20,465).
Career: In 2010-11 season finished second to Mika Koivuniemi in 2011 Tournament of Champions (269-207)and earned $100,000...Had two other television appearances--fourth place finishes in GEICO Shark Championship and GEICO Mark Roth Plastic Ball Championship...Won 2009 PBA World Championship for first Tour title, defeating 2008-09 Player of the Year Wes Malott, 244-228, in championship match. “Storybook win” resulted in enormous national media attention including a feature in Sports Illustrated, network television exposure and major national newspaper features…Had two other television appearances including third-place in Scorpion Championship, and fifth place in Don and Paula Carter Mixed Doubles with partner Jodi Woessner...Finished third in 2009 PBA Tour Trials to earn first Tour exemption.
