Personal: Native Colombian now making his home in Weston, Fla.…has had a notable international career, winning multiple events including the 1999 Bahrain Open, the 2000 Mexican Open, the 2001 South American and the 2003 American Zone Ranking Masters…won the silver medal and tossed a 300 game in the 1999 WTBA World Championships…has won the South American event on three occasions…captured the bronze medal in the 2003 Pan-American Games…was a member of the All-Events Team Championship in the 2004 USBC Open Championships.
2012-13: Successfully defended his Carmen Salvino Classic title from 2011-12 by winning 2013 edition with a 246-197 win over D.J. Archer in championship match for second career Tour title.
Career: In 2011-12, after four seasons competing on Tour won first title in the World Series of Bowling Carmen Salvino Classic by defeating Wes Malott in eliminator championship match 246-207...In 2010-11 season had previous best career-best Tour finishes of second in Pepsi Viper Championship and fourth in Tournament of Champions...Prior to 2010-11 season, had best Tour finish of fifth in Chameleon Championship in 2009-10...Was exempt in one previous season (2005-06) where his best finish was ninth in 20 tournaments...Earned his exemption that year through Tour Trials...Won first PBA regional in August 2011.
